This was a special marketing piece designed for audience participation. The inside included a perforated set of eyeglasses. Recipients could enter a contest by punching these out and sending in selfies taken while wearing them. I worked with a mail-house to ensure the best type of perforation to use for this mailing and designed the piece such that punching out the glasses didn't affect the text flow on either side of the mailing.
Perforation via the dieline allows the recipient to punch out eye-holes in the glasses. The glasses are slightly smaller than shown in the layout so that the green color bleeds to the edge. Inside of glasses shown below. No important text is destroyed during the punch-out process.
